The Role of Micro-credentials and Research in Advancing Capacity Building for Mitigating Climate Change and Ensuring Food Security
Ensuring food security amid climate change is one of the most pressing challenges of our time. Rising temperatures, shifting precipitation patterns, and extreme weather events jeopardize agricultural productivity, food availability, and access to nutritious diets. The International Conference on Micro-credentials and Research for Food Security and Climate Change (ICMCRFSCC) seeks to bring together educators, researchers, policymakers, and other stakeholders to exchange insights and practices on addressing these urgent issues. Through a combination of targeted learning solutions and the latest research on food security amid climate change, this conference will explore ways to equip individuals and organizations with the skills, knowledge, and scientific insights needed to create a resilient and sustainable future. Participants will have the opportunity to delve into research findings on the impacts of climate change on food systems and discuss strategies for developing micro-credentials that integrate this knowledge into accessible, practical education. By connecting research with education, we aim to empower individuals to contribute meaningfully to climate resilience and food security.
